INTRALASE LASIK

Intralase LASIK is a recent technology used for the treatment of the refractive errors such as myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism. Intralase LASIK enables the surgeon to make a bladeless flap (with a thin laceration, a tiny lid is opened on top of the cornea) in the required quality by laser beams controlled by computer. Opening the flap is the most important part of the operation and affects the success of the operation. Making the flap by laser beams instead of a blade, minimizes the risks. Intralase LASIK allows making a custom-made flap for the patient, thus increases the success of the operation.
